Rim mounted sash and dead locks are often used on solid doors and gates to provide convenient security without the need to mortice out an aperture from the door material. Fixed directly to the surface, on the inside of the door, these locks are a popular option particularly in Victorian style domestic properties.
This Legge 2144 Rim Deadlock can be locked and unlocked by key from either inside or outside and comes supplied with 2 keys. Suitable for use on either left or right handed doors dur to its keyway, the handing is reversed by simply installing the product the correct way up to suit the doors orientation.
With a case height of 73mm, backset of 50mm, and an overall width of 106mm, this low cost surface mounted deadlock is available in singles and supplied with a staple for the frame.
This lock will come supplied on one of 12 available differs and additional keys are available from stock, pre-cut to the 12 existing differs. Simply identify which differ your lock has been supplied on, and order additional keys to suit,.
