This ERA gearbox is suitable for a passive door on a pair of French doors.
Passive locks are fitted to the secondary (or passive) door on a pair of French doors. They are used in conjunction with the primary lock, which is a normal multipoint door lock, fitted to the main door. Locking is achieved by shoot bolts which secure the secondary door leaf to the frame when the door is locked.
ERA locks are also rebranded under the names Homesafe - Cego Surelock - Saracen - Spartan - Duraflex - Sapa - Westward.
