Rim mounted sash and dead locks are often used on solid doors and gates to provide convenient security without the need to mortice out an aperture from the door material. Fixed directly to the surface, on the inside of the door, these locks are a popular option particularly in Victorian style domestic properties.
This TSS Double Handed Rim Sashlock can be locked and unlocked by key from either inside or outside and comes supplied with 2 keys. These locks are non handed and can be fitted either way up to account for Left or Right handed doors. This lock features a latch and deadbolt, and can be used with compatible rim know furniture.
With a case height of 108mmmm, backset of 45mm, and an overall width of 156mm, this low cost surface mounted sashlock is available in singles and supplied with a staple for the frame. Supplied in either black brass or polished chrome finishes.
