Lock Shop will remain open until further notice
You will have seen the announcement from the government regarding the lockdown of “non-essential” business. The definition of “essential” wasn’t very clear but we now have some formal government guidance.
Our first priority is to ensure that our staff and customers are safe and to maintain public health in-line with Government advice. At the same time, all of our customers will play a critical role in keeping homes and business across the UK and Ireland safe and secure.
As a result, the government has made an exception for all ecommerce shops and specifically, in our case, companies that provide hardware. This allows us and our customers to continue trading. The link to the official government document is here.
Delivery Measures Taken
We have spoken in depth with our suppliers and have been assured further social distancing measures in their warehouse teams have been implemented.
Our next day courier delivery service continues as normal. You can continue to place your orders until 5pm for next day delivery. All our additional delivery rates are still available too with no change to the pricing structure.
Regarding your delivery, both our couriers DHL and DPD will no longer require you to sign their PDA’s. With your consent, they will be able sign on your behalf to ensure that there is no contact between you.
