Eurograde Safes (6)

Looking for somewhere safe to keep your possessions – either at home or in the workplace? Have you ever considered a Eurograde safe? If so, you’ve come to the right place.

If you have never purchased a safe before, you may be overwhelmed by the vast range available. Do you opt for an AiS (Association of Insurance Surveyors) approved safe or a Eurograde safe? Luckily, LockShop Direct is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of security safes and can advise you on the best safe for your needs.

Eurograde safes are tested to the highest level possible, within a myriad of environments, to ensure they meet EN 1143-1 security standards. They are also resistant to burglary attacks, so provide you with the peace of mind that your valuables are covered in the unfortunate event of them being stolen or damaged.

Much like any other security safe, Eurograde safes come in an assortment of sizes and, their interior structure varies depending on the brand and the type of objects that they are intended for (e.g. cash safes, key cabinets, etc.). What’s more, these safes are graded from Eurograde 0 to Eurograde 7 – according to how much protection they provide. Grade 7 safes are the most secure safes you can buy and, although they are indeed a significant investment, this type of security is priceless in today’s day and age.

Why choose a Eurograde safe?

Great for storing high-value goods, AiS approved safes are ideal for residential and small business use. But for individuals or businesses wanting to secure extremely high-value items, we recommend a Eurograde safe to ensure they are covered by insurers if they were to be stolen.

Eurograde safes come in a choice of cash ratings. These include:

  • Eurograde 0 - £6,000
  • Eurograde 1 - £10,000
  • Eurograde 2 - £17,500
  • Eurograde 3 - £35,000
  • Eurograde 4 - £60,000
  • Eurograde 5 - £100,000
  • Eurograde 6 - £150,000
  • Eurograde 7 - £250,000

As a general rule of thumb, all safes have EN 1143 certification, but grades 4 and above have two locks fitted rather than one. This means that both key holders have to be present to open the safe door – maximising security.
