A mortice latch fire door panic bar, like the Briton 378 is ideal for areas accessed by the public where a panic situation is foreseen. Easy to operate, all you need to do is push the bar to withdraw the latch and the door will open. Supplied handed, the Briton fire door panic bar can be reversed on-site to suit your fire door.
Also available online at LockShop Direct is the Exidor 296 latch panic bar. The Exidor fire door panic bar can be used with doors that have a rim cylinder lock on the outside.
Other panic bars include the Briton 379 mortice latch push bar. Suitable for single doors and the first opening leaf of a door, the fire door panic bar can be left or right-handed. We supply the Briton 379 panic bar with self-tapping screws as standard and is suitable for timber and metal door sets.
