Which fire brigade key do I need?
The fire brigade key you’ll need to buy is determined by the fire brigade lock that will be used – we stock an extensive range of fire brigade keys for a wide range of locking mechanisms.
To combine the right key and lock from our collection, ensure that their product codes match – product codes can be found on each product page underneath ‘variations’.
For example, our Fire Brigade FB11 Open Shackle Galvanised Padlock has the product code FB11P. The corresponding fire brigade padlock key ‘FB TYPE 11’ should be selected from the dropdown list to ensure it’s a correct fit for your new locking device.
- FB1K, FB2K, and FB4K fire brigade keys fit mortice and rim locks with the same code (FB1, FB2, and FB4).
- FB11K, FB14K, and FB1PK keys unlock padlocks with product codes FB11P, FB14P, and FB1P.
The key types are universal across manufacturers, so as long as you select the matching key code, you can choose whichever brand you like!
