Saracen window gearbox
The central part of any multipoint lock is known as the ‘gearbox’. The gearbox is the part with the mechanics of the multipoint lock which allows the lock to operate.
Inside the gearbox, parts are prone to wear and tear - meaning your windows are less secure, however, the Saracen window gearbox is a suitable replacement.

An example includes the Saracen deadbolt espag gearbox - clip fit. This gearbox has a black cover plate that is used to connect rods by pushing and twisting them to lock into place. We supply the deadbolt espag gearbox left or right handed - so you needn’t worry about it suiting your exact requirements.
The Saracen espag gearbox face fix is also included in the Saracen lock range. It has a flat metal strip that runs up along the side of the window and moves when the handle is turned. There are round mushrooms (studs) that move up and down, depending on the window, when the handle moves.
