Important Update: Delivery Delays Ahead of the Holiday Season
Dear Valued Customer,
As the holiday season approaches, we wanted to share some important information regarding delivery times for your orders. With the increased demand and various logistical challenges, we anticipate some delays in shipping over the next couple of months. We’re working with a variety of carriers—DPD, FedEx, DHL, and Parcel Force—to ensure you receive the best service possible.
We know how crucial timely delivery is during the festive season, and we’re doing everything we can to minimise any disruptions. To help ensure your items arrive on time, we recommend placing your orders as early as possible.

Delivery Charges
Please note that all delivery charges listed on our website apply to mainland UK only. Certain postcodes, such as Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, the Scottish Islands, and the Scilly Islands, are considered geographic extremities.

2-3 Day Tracked Delivery
This service is available for the UK mainland only. If you need tracking information, just send us an email, and we'll provide it for you.
Next Working Day Delivery Service
We process all online orders selected with this service the same day if received before 5 PM (or 4 PM for phone orders). We aim to have these orders delivered the next working day, but please note that this service is only available for the UK mainland and may not be guaranteed.
If your order includes customisation (like extra keys or specific keying), there may be delays. For urgent orders, please reach out before making your purchase. Some products may not be eligible for next day service, but eligible options will be clearly listed during checkout.
Currently, we’re unable to deliver to the Republic of Ireland, but we are constantly reviewing this situation.
*Please remember that orders received after 4 PM which require extra keys cannot be guaranteed for next working day delivery.
**Certain products, including Mul-T-Lock, Kasp, selected Abus security cameras and bike locks, and safes, are exempt from our next working day delivery service.
***Orders placed on Weekends and Bank Holidays will be processed the next working day and dispatched the following business day.
Key Cutting Service Delivery
Where Lock Shop Direct require the original key or high security key cards the new cut key will be issued for next day delivery upon receipt of requested key or card from the customer.
For products within this category that are eligible for next day delivery it will be stated on the product details page. Those eligible, we process within the same day if received before 12pm and we recommend you select our next working day service. This means the key will be sent out via recorded delivery for additional security. For further information please see our terms and conditions.
Saturday Delivery Service
- This service is not guaranteed however we aim to process all orders for Saturday if received before 5pm on Friday of that week (if ordering by telephone the cut off is 4pm).
- If delivery is made but you are not in to sign for the delivery then we will reschedule for the next working day but the delivery cost will not be refunded.
Out Of Stock
We display live stock amounts for all our products, so you can see what’s available. If you’re looking for an item that’s out of stock, just click the “email me when back in stock” button, and we’ll notify you when it’s available again.
If you need more items than we currently have in stock, please call us at 0330 174 0851, and our sales team may be able to help source the extras you need.
Tracking An Order
To track your order, simply email us at info@lockshopdirect.co.uk, and we’ll provide you with the tracking number.
Returns
If you would like to return a item to Lock Shop Direct, please follow the process listed below:
- Review Section 15 in our Terms and Conditions.
- Email us at returns@lockshopdirect.co.uk and request a customer returns number.
- All items must be in the same condition as when received and returned within 14 working days.
- Please allow up to 28 days to receive your refund.
- If you receive a faulty product, we may offer a repair, exchange, or refund as appropriate. Just reach out to us for assistance.
