This high security automatically deadlocking BS nightlatch from Asec Kite is ideal for use with solid and glass panelled wooden doors to provide additional security against forced entry. The locking bolt of the nightlatch deadlocks automatically upon closing, making the use of a credit card to force entry virtually impossible. The bolt can also be held in the withdrawn position with the use of the snib feature for convenience when required. This rim fixing nightlatch conforms to British Standard 3621:2004 (BS EN 12209) and the cylinder has over 30,000 cut key differs as well as featuring an integral cylinder pull which helps to protect the cylinder from being drilled.
