The Briton 1413ELE is a lever operated outside access device designed to provide authorised external entry to doors fitted with compatible Briton panic and emergency exit hardware. Suitable for single doors and the first opening leaf of double doors, it is supplied with a 40mm euro profile cylinder as standard and fixings for timber and metal doors from 40mm to 100mm thick. The site reversible lever provides a comfortable grip and smooth operation, while the anti-vandal design allows the lever to rotate when locked, helping to protect the mechanism from abuse while maintaining safe emergency escape from the inside. This anti-vandal lever operated outside access device is suitable for use with Briton Panic Hardware, the newly updated design features a clutch mechanism which allows the lever to rotate when the unit is locked. The product is Certifire approved and suitable for use on FD30 & FD60 fire doors, it must be installed per the manufacturer’s instructions with all relevant associated products.
