The Briton 5430 DIN Standard Mortice Bathroom Lock is designed for bathroom doors where privacy locking is required. The latch is operated by lever furniture, while the 10mm throw deadbolt is operated by a thumbturn and requires a suitable outside indicator or emergency release. Suitable for commercial door applications, the Briton 5430 features a quick reversible latch for left or right handed doors, helping to make installation quicker and more straightforward. It is available with a choice of round or square forend, with a single piece rounded forend manufactured from grade 304 stainless steel in a satin stainless steel finish. These products are suitable for use on FD30 and FD60 fire doors, to achieve the fire rating these digital locks must be fitted with the appropriate intumescent pack, if fitted to a fire door, a suitable door closer must also be installed.
