The DHI‑ARD2251E‑W2(868V) from Dahua is a wireless external PIR‑camera that fuses passive infrared (PIR) and microwave detection technologies to deliver precise motion sensing for both indoor and outdoor environments. It is designed for use with the ARC3800H series alarm hub. It has a detection range of up to 15 m, a detection angle of 90°, and support for anti‑masking functions and tamper detection, which helps reduce false triggers from minor interference or obstruction. The device supports temperature monitoring, movement detection (to signal if someone shifts or detaches it), and pet immunity (ignoring animals under approximately 80 cm / 40 kg).

It's wireless architecture uses the 868 MHz band for alarm signalling and a 2.4 GHz RF‑HD link for image transmission, with a communication range of up to 1,600 m in open space and encrypted two‑way data exchange with frequency hopping for enhanced stability and security.
