The DGS gearbox features a latch and deadbolt and measure 208mm high (excluding the fixing lugs) by the backset + 19mm wide.
The latch is 32mm high, the deadbolt measures 35mm high and there is a 54mm gap from the bottom of the latch to the top of the deadbolt.
DGS gearboxes are fixed to their faceplates with 3 screws. The distance from the top to the middle screw is 108mm, while the middle screw to the bottom screw is 92mm.
The follower is 8mm with the surround being thicker on the 30mm and thinner on the 35/45mm.
Always allow 2mm if measuring your backset with the gearbox removed from the faceplate.
These gearboxes are only available in a lift lever function with the split spindle and fast locking functions now obsolete, should you have either of these functions then a new style full length lock is required.
