The WINKHAUS Lever Operated Latch & Deadbolt Gearbox has 35mm, 45mm or 55mm backset, 92mm centres, is split spindle, latch & deadbolt centre case, 185mm case height and has 50mm, 60mm or 70mm case width. Winkhaus gearboxes are fixed to the faceplate using rivets rather than screws. This allows the rivets to be removed and replaced when carrying out a gearbox swap, while also making Winkhaus products easy to identify. Ideal for locksmiths and trade professionals, it offers a cost effective solution for repairing or refurbishing existing door systems without needing to replace the entire strip. IdentificationWinkhaus gearboxes are fixed to the faceplate using rivets rather than screws. HandingThe latch can be reversed by placing a screwdriver in the rear of the case directly behind the latch. Push the latch forward and rotate it to the opposite hand. OperationLocking Method - A. Lift lever to engage locking mechanisms and then one full turn of the cylinder to lock. One full turn of the key, then push down on the lever to unlock.
