The ASEC Panic Latch is a single point panic exit device designed for use on single outward opening escape route doors. The horizontal push bar provides quick and simple operation, releasing the latch to allow easy egress from the building in an emergency. The unit complies with EN 1125:2008 and features reversible handing for greater installation flexibility. It is suitable for door leaves up to 2500mm high x 1300mm wide, with a maximum door weight of 200kg. The panic latch has been tested for durability to Grade 7, equivalent to 200,000 cycles, making it suitable for applications requiring reliable and repeated operation. This product is fire tested and must be installed per the manufacturer’s instructions, and with all relevant associated products. Fire rated for timber (FD60) and metal (FD120) fire doors.
