The ELITE Compact Lever Operated Latch & Deadbolt Twin Spindle Designed To Accept Optional Shootbolts - 2 Hook 4 Roller has 35mm backset, 92mm & 62mm centres, 200mm case height, 54mm case width, is twin spindle and has a latch & deadbolt centre case. This compact lock is ideal for applications where a shorter rebate is required, making it particularly suitable for French Door installations. The lock is capable of being cropped down to a minimum height of 1860mm without a shootbolt and 1805mm when used with a shootbolt, offering versatile options for different door sizes and designs. It has twin spindles meaning that it can be used as either a straight forward lever/lever operation (using just the 92mm spindle) or as a split spindle (lever/pad) operation when using both the 92mm and 62mm spindles. AccreditationThese products have corrosion resistance to EN1670: Grade 5 (480 hours NSS) & have a 10 Year Guarantee. IdentificationThere is a rectangular indent in the locking point hook visible when extended. GearboxThe latch & deadbolt gearbox has a twin spindle, a case height of 200mm and a case width of 54mm. HandingThe latch can be reversed by removing the screw in the latch, taking the latch out, flipping it to the opposite hand, and refitting the screw. Spung/UnsprungThe gearbox is unsprung and must be installed with sprung handles and / or a compatible spring cassette to ensure correct operation and reliable lever return. OperationLocking Method - A. Lift lever to engage locking mechanisms and then one full turn of the cylinder to lock. One full turn of the key then push down on the lever to unlock.
