The ELITE Composite Lever Operated Latch & Deadbolt Twin Spindle 20mm Faceplate - 2 Hook has 35mm or 45mm backset, 92mm & 62mm centres, 200mm case height, 54mm or 64mm case width, is twin spindle and has a latch & deadbolt centre case.

It has bi-directional steel hooks, this lock provides exceptional resistance against forced entry, with two high-strength hooks for additional security. This lock is engineered to meet modern security standards, including compliance with Document Q. It has a 20mm faceplate with radius ends making it ideally suited for installation in composite and timber door applications.

Finished with Elite Silbear Surface Protection, it provides outstanding corrosion resistance, exceeding 480 hours of salt spray testing (EN1670 Grade 5), ensuring durability even in challenging environments. It has twin spindles meaning that it can be used as either a straight forward lever/lever operation (using just the 92mm spindle) or as a split spindle (lever/pad) operation when using both the 92mm and 62mm spindles.

Identification
There is a rectangular indent in the locking point hook visible when extended.

Gearbox
The latch & deadbolt gearbox has a twin spindle, a case height of 200mm and a case width of 54mm or 64mm.

Additional Locking Points
In addition to the locking points within the gearbox, the full length strip has 2 hook locking points.

Faceplate
20mm radius wide faceplate, ideal for use on composite & timber applications and is 1.77m long.

Croppable
This unit cannot be cropped down on site, please check the required unit length before purchasing.

Handing
The latch can be reversed by removing the screw in the latch, taking the latch out, flipping it to the opposite hand, and refitting the screw.

Spung/Unsprung
The gearbox is unsprung and must be installed with sprung handles and / or a compatible spring cassette to ensure correct operation and reliable lever return.

Operation
Locking Method - A. Lift lever to engage locking mechanisms and then one full turn of the cylinder to lock. One full turn of the key then push down on the lever to unlock.
