The Exidor 525EC is a lever operated outside access device designed to provide authorised external access through doors fitted with compatible Exidor 500 Series panic and emergency exit hardware. Supplied complete with a 45mm half Euro profile cylinder and 3 keys, it provides a practical solution for controlling external entry while maintaining unrestricted emergency escape from inside the building. The 525EC is suitable for use with Exidor 500 Series bolts and latches and is supplied as standard for doors up to 62mm thick. The lever meets the dimensional requirements of BS 8300 and is fully interchangeable with the alternative knob operator, while the reversible design allows installation on left or right handed doors. The unit is surface mounted externally using concealed machine screws for a neat and secure installation. The Exidor 525EC is CE marked and Certifire approved under reference CF389, with fire testing covering up to 1 hour on timber fire doors and up to 2 hours on metal fire doors. As this product is fire tested, it must be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and used with all relevant associated products where required.
