Garage Defender For Up And Over

The Garage Defender For Up And Over is a garage defender that secures up and over garage doors by preventing the door from opening past a locked transverse bar. The Garage Defender For Up And Over comprises a welded base plate with a locking bar and an SAS C-Type padlock supplied in the package. The unit is for external fixing into concrete and includes two fixing bolts.

The base plate measures 78 x 205mm and is 5mm thick. Fixing is achieved by drilling an initial 10mm hole and widening to 16mm to accept the supplied bolts. An optional tarmac adaptor plate is available to be concreted into position where the fixing surface is tarmac. When the unit is locked, the fixing bolts are covered by the closed garage door and remain beneath the defender, preventing access to the bolt heads while the bar is in place.
