The Ingenious 1045 is an Autofire multipoint door lock designed for use on composite doors, providing automatic multipoint locking without the need to lift the door handle. Four individually triggered latch locking points engage as the door is closed, helping to secure the door at multiple positions while maintaining consistent compression against the frame seals. Manufactured with a 20mm wide faceplate with radius ends, the Ingenious 1045 has a 45mm backset, 92mm PZ centres and meets PAS 24:2016 enhanced security requirements, together with BS 6375 operation and weather resistance and BS EN 1670 corrosion resistance, when used as part of a suitably tested doorset. Its combination of automatic three-point engagement and composite door compatibility makes it an effective solution for both new door manufacture and suitable replacement applications.
