YALE Linus L2 Lite Smart Lock

The Yale Linus Smart Lock L2 Lite is a compact retrofit smart locking solution designed to provide convenient keyless control while retaining the existing mechanical locking system. Fitted to the inside of the door, the L2 Lite can be installed without drilling or permanently modifying the door and is suitable for compatible lift-to-lock applications. For UK installations, the cylinder must protrude by at least 3mm from the inside of the door furniture, and the unit is not suitable for split-spindle or auto-engage multipoint locks.

Operation is managed through the Yale Home app, with Bluetooth 5.4 providing local smartphone connectivity and Matter over Thread enabling integration with compatible smart home platforms including Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Samsung SmartThings. Users can lock and unlock the door, provide digital access to other users and review locking activity, while Auto-Unlock provides convenient hands-free entry. Yale's KeySense™ control also allows the lock to be operated directly from the internal button, including an optional delayed locking function configured through the Yale Home app.

Powered by 3 x CR123A batteries, the Linus L2 Lite has a compact 61mm diameter x 72mm body and weighs approximately 260g excluding batteries. Security is supported by 128-bit AES encryption and two-factor authentication for the Yale Home account. The L2 Lite does not incorporate built-in Wi-Fi; therefore, remote operation and status monitoring through the Yale Home app requires a compatible Yale ConnectX Wi-Fi Bridge, available separately.
